The problem

Since last night there has been a problem that many of my pre-posted pictures don't show up.
Some don't lose links but some do.
I found out it might be a bug problem which shows in many other bloggers posts.
I'm going to leave this for the moment to see if there is an easy way to get rid of this.
It's really disappointing and irritating that the pictures are not shown
and I have to click each blank to see it.
Sorry about this inconvenience.
If you have any good advice, I would be most happy.
I'm going to work on this in the evening.

Thank you for visiting.

I love vending machines!

You will see several kinds of vending machines along the streets or at any stations----almost any place. Well sometimes I feel annoying to see colorful vending machines even at very classical, historical sites in towns. Yet, we're counting on these machines. Vending machines for drinking are most popular and you'll be stunned to hear some new machines can speak when you insert coins and get your drink saying "Thank you"or"Come back again" or even" Take it easy". It's really funny.
See this video of three minutes on this topic.

And one of the main railway companies, which covers Tokyo area has recently set their high tech beverages vending machine at Shinagawa Station. This machines has a big display screen and when a customer steps close to it, it automatically shows a display of selling products in bottles and cans. What's more in surprise, it recommends a product judging from a customer's face, gender, age with its built-in face recognition camera! All you have to do is insert coins and touch the image you want.
Amazing! I love to "meet" this high tech vending machine and to get my drink hopefully sometime next month when I go to see my friends in Tokyo. Can't wait to see what kind of beverage this robot like machine will recommend to me.
The first day when this machine was set, many twitters uploaded pictures of this first machine which turned out be the focus of passers-by.

My laptop was dead

It was like the end of the world! My laptop was dead all of a sudden due to some hard drive fatal trouble. I back up my data regularly but still I lost some. Awwwww! Now for the time being until I get a new one, I use this small net book which my son lent it for me. Glad he had this one but you know it is quite smaaaaall! And as long as it's his, I'd better not customize it the way I like. It's a little bit exhausting. Now my friends, beware of your PC. It's a machine after all. Don't forget to back up your important files.

Inspiring hint from Dionne

Dionne is such a talented woman in many ways. She owns "City of Dionne". She is a graphic designer, a writer, a photographer, a cook and an organizer-----and maybe a bit more talents.
Well, more than anything else, she has a generosity to accept friends from different backgrounds and shows her understanding toward differences. Her blog is filled with deep insights and warmness not to mention her artistic talents.
She also writes some articles in different sites besides her own blog and I'm a fan of her articles.

In her recent post in Meylah, she introduced the importance of making a blog button and I found it very interesting in a sense that I can use this button not only for linking to my blog but also for directing readers to a particular site or post.
A button is not only for advertising a blog. I haven't ever thought of that. Then, why not try a button for my own post! Thank you Dionne for inspiring me.

I've just followed her step-by-step instruction and I think I did it all right.
If you want to read her post, just click on the green button above.
I myself made a button to lead you my tulip album in a side menu. Would you like to click on that button? Thank you!

Need to rest?

My PC performance is so slow for the moment. I've got to see what's the problem. It's so irritating. I feel like I was shut down from any doors to go out from a house. Any windows seem to be a bit small for me to get out! I need the Door to the world wide web! I may not update for a moment. Wait for me.

Refreshing!

One of my ex colleagues and a good friend of mine now opens her own school of home computing after they remodeled their old annex next to their house. It has turned out to be very cozy and comfortable space having two rooms: one for six computers and one for a table and a sofa for enjoying a coffee break. How I wish I could come to her school only if I don't have to drive one and a half hour for one way. Her town is surrounded by mountains and fields. Most of her students are housewives and seniors and I'm pretty sure she is a big help for them. She has plenty of skills and more than anything else she is a nice person. I visited her and her husband who are both good friends of mine along with other two friends and we enjoyed BBQ party, talking , walking down to their rice field in fallow being full of cosmos flowers at present. I picked up some vegetables from their field. Everything I had that day was such a rewarding experience.

One way to past time

I only use Photoshop elements---and surprisingly---its version is "2"! But I think this is enough for me for the moment. I'm really enjoying it. Using an original picture above, here I made a card. This is one of my favorite ways to past time. Oh well, it's just a begining of the week. I've got to go to bed.

By the way will you tell me?

Is there any way to know that I've got the recent comment on any of my posts? It would be nice if I can or anyone can know it instantly in the side menu. That way I won't miss it if it is in my previous posts. I've checked it on "Help" but according to the explanation, I have to change my template to classic one. I don't want to do it though. If someone has a good answer, will you tell me?
