Getting ready for the first day of 2011

The last several days before the New Year in Japan is super busy, non-stop and restless for every housewife to get prepared for the New Year's celebration. Every man, no matter what position he's in in his business world, is happy to help his wife at home, as far as I know.
Hope every one has a happy and peaceful New Year Eve tonight.

you'll be in a new year few hours before me, right? and i bet the celebration there would be crazier than here :D I hope someday i can spend my new year's eve in Japan, that would be really lovely.

all in all, happy new year (well, soon to be) hope 2011 brings us lots and lots and even more happiness! :D

Happy New Year to you and your family! May 2011 be everything you wish for.

Next year, could you blog a bit about life in Japan? I'd love to learn more. For example, the Japanese men I know don't do a thing in the house. Is this normal? Or only for older people? or rich people? How is married life for the young Japanese?

What's your normal nightlife like? What do you do? Where do you go?

And what about fashion? Is it Western? Chinese? Or are you first, and then trends go to Taiwan etc???

I'd love it if you educated me about these things.
